It's so frustrating!
I can't connect to the internet on my ibook G4. I replaced the hd and it's worked fine. My daughter tripped on the cord and I had to replace it but it worked fine still. Now, 3 days later, it just suddenly will not connect. I have tried network diagnostics on Safari, Internet connect, etc and it does nothing. It sees my network and all my diagnostics point to it should work! My imac, as you see, works fine so it's not my internet provider.

What in the world is it? I opened it up and made sure the airport card is secure and it is. besides it says it reads a strong signal.

Please help.

nothing

Turning on and off the router this morning didn't help.
I have cable so I am not sure what you mean by hard wire. I tried an ethernet cable but I don't have the necessary password to sign up.
last night after I wrote this, it suddenly came on.
Now it's not working again.
I am really tired of this computer. It had trouble for a couple of weeks recently keeping a signal. Now it says the signal is really strong but none of the web pages will come up.

Ok this is weird.
I tried again and now I got through all the network diagnostics for my network and it is connected again if I stay near the router. But the bar says only one out of 5 stregnth.
Is this a bad airport card?
