Cannot connect to provider WiFi

Just updated iPhone and iPad to iOS 17 RC and iPad 17 RC respectively. Neither now connects to the provider’s WiFi networks anymore. Manually connecting results in it asking for a user/pass - ideally it should use the regular certificate based authentication.
Anyone else see this problem?
