Hi all,
On my xserve running lion 10.7.5 (its a 2006 model :/) I just use it as a basic file server. Anyways sharing with SMB only works when I dont require a password for it. IE I can open my public folder on anything, but as soon as it asks me for my username and password it tells me its incorrect. Real annoying when I'm the one that set the password and created the account. This happens on every device except one PC running windows 10. My laptop can connect using AFP because it has linux, but if I use smb it wont. Phones and tablets all tell me invalid login.
I have even made a new account strictly for file sharing and it still does the same thing... I'm assuming this is an issue with lion, being the worst version OS X ever... But aside from that I'm open to suggestions!
