Hello,
I'm using MyEclipse (the popular plug-in to Eclipse) and it's having trouble when I try to debug.
Although I can "run" the Java code, when I try to debug it, I get a "Cannot connect to VM" error.
This problem started happening after installing Snow Leopard.
I was on the phone with the MyEclipse folks, but it appears to be something with the JVM 1.6 implementation with MyEclipse (which uses a Carbon implementation).
I've tried other IDEs (like intellij), but they don't match my workflow like MyEclipse does.
So, here I am. I'm about to give up on the Mac entirely since the JVM comes from Apple and I can't get any solution to this problem.
I've disabled the firewall, and done all the requisite testing. There's just something goofy going on here.
Has anyone else had this problem or can recommend a last-ditch effort?
Thanks in advance.
