I currently have my photo library saved on an external drive to save space on my laptop. Last week I bought a 3 TB NAS drive to store all of our family's media. When I try to copy the photo library to the new drive I get the following error:

One or more items can’t be copied to “Shaun's Photo Library” because you don’t have permission to read them. Do you want to copy the items you are allowed to read?

If I click continue, nothing copies. I've opened the sharing & permissions sections of the info on my library file and everyone has access to read & write. I'm able to open the library from iPhoto without any issues.

I'm at a loss as to how to copy my library. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry guys... right after I submitted the post the solution dawned on me. I held option + control while opening iPhoto and checked the box to repair library permissions. My library is now copying. Crisis averted. :apple:
