cannot create/open podcast episode in just installed garage band 3.0.4

I have just installed Garage Band 3 to my PowerBook G4 so that I can start creating podcast tracks but when I try to create a podcast the computer will let me name my new episode but then goes right back to the opening screen. It allows me to open existing and create new music projects but I can't get into podcasts at all!!! Do you think this has anything to do with the fact that I'm not running on an intel-mac? It just doesn't make sense because all the other iLife '06 products are working great.

Ali505, I know you posted a little while ago now, but I have the EXACT same problem. I'm really confused, I have a one-year old macbook, OSX Tiger. Have you found a solution, or can anyone give me a solution please? I've looked all over to solve the problem, but can find nothing!
