I have at least 20 iPhone 3GS that I can no longer custom restore to 5.0 or 5.0.1 I have cooked the custom firmware through snowbreeze and had no problems until now. Is this bec iTunes is no longer signing that firmware anymore? Also, I dont have the SSH saved on any of them bec they were all restored before I received them. (restored before 5.1 was released) Does anyone know of a way around this? I have 20 useless iphones unless I can Jailbreak to Unlock them... I put them into pwned DFU mode through both redsn0w and iReb and keep getting errors -1, 9, 28, 29, 2001, 2009, or "request not eligible for build"

Sn0wbreeze has a method to custom restore to 5.0 or 5.0.1, but that requires at least partial blobs saved from each device. Looks like your out of luck for now.

All restores to any iOS5 firmware require not only the hash file but the APTicket also.
Then you must stitch both to your custom IPSW in order to restore

At the completion, when you get error -1, use Redsn0w to kick it out of recovery
