I have a partition on my mac that I am trying to delete for ages now. It is the second one, follows right after my main drive (Mjolnir). I also have 50+GB of free disk space that go right after it that I would like to merge into my Mjolnir drive.
I have good backup, I would just format the whole damn thing and install fresh system and recover from backup, but I can't seem to go into the mode where instead of the drive names my machine will show me the name of the ssd manufacturer so I cal select it as a device and erase it whole.
The problem with this small partition (that I tried to erase via Terminal and it's now jhfs+ volume called "trytodelete") is that is has 800mb of some data even after I erase it and it's ALWAYS in use, so I cannot delete this volume using the "minus" icon in the Disk Utility, the icon is grayed out.
I tried the internet recovery, still cannot delete it. I launched my mac in target disk mode and could not delete this volume from my other mac as well, it was in use.

When I try to merge other space (like so https://www.dropbox.com/s/fl7yj8t6laxmn0y/Screenshot 2018-09-21 16.30.28.png?dl=0) into this disk I get this error https://www.dropbox.com/s/vppulzw7hx6x6kr/Screenshot 2018-09-21 16.30.47.png?dl=0
I am on High Sierra

Thank you for taking a look at this topic, I hope there is a solution to this.
