Hello all,

Just recently in the past 2 weeks I cannot download files from Safari (or firefox either for that matter). I upgraded to SL when it came out, so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it.

On an average website, for a 3rd party application, when I do click on the file to be downloaded I am presented with a dark grey webpage with nothing else in it. However, as a workaround, I will just right click on it and choose "Save linked file to downloads" and that works, so that isn't so bad.

But on other sites I do not have this same luxury. Like on Apple.com for instance, on all of their software (iTunes, Safari, iWork, etc) they have a button that links you to another page, which the download file starts automatically.....but it doesn't.

Any ideas on what this could be?

Thank you!

seriously, anyone???

it is getting in the way of my schooling because I cannot download documents from different websites that doesn't allow me to right click and "download linked file"

any kind of help, at all? PLEASE??
