So, I have an empty folder in the Bin which I just cannot delete. Well, I say empty, but there are 2 empty folders inside it.
I have tried everything, but normal empty bin gives 'item in use' message. The folders are locked, but via 'get Info' even when I unlock them, they just relock.
I also tried safe mode, but no luck.
I tried the Terminal command 'sudo rm -R' command, but that just gives 'Directory not empty' message and refuses to empty bin.
Can anyone help here? I am going mad with this!

I had the same problem a while back, and eventually came to the same conclusion that since the folder originally lived on my iCloud Drive, I could go to iCloud.com and try deleting it there. It is very frustrating though, it shouldn't be that difficult to delete a folder/file.

Agreed. I also think it would be possible to delete them from my PC synced to iCloud Drive.
As you say, why so difficult?
