Here's the issue:
iTunes Connect is all set to receive my application, but the App ID is just:
9398LKSNS7.QuickClip
that's all. I left off
com.<domain name>
It was an accident, but that's the way it is.
So for entering my BundleID in Xcode, I'd like to enter just "QuickClip", right? Issue: it put a gray period in front of the bundle name. As a result, it isn't recognizing the distribution provisioning profile.
Any suggestions for what the best way of fixing this is?
Edit: I went way too fast, I feel almost certain I had to have made mistakes, but I created a new Bundle ID on iTunes Connect, made a new application, enabled iAds, added my In-App Purchase to remove them, copied all the metadata I had on iTunes Connect for my messed up Bundle ID app to the new one, then went through my app and replaced all the old, wrong bundle IDs and IAP IDs with the new ones. Got the new certificate, put it in, archived my app and sent it to Apple. All in about half an hour. Surely mistakes were made and will come to haunt me later... here's hoping I can fix them in version 1.1 before too much damage is done.
(IAP's are my biggest concern... I just made a new one and completely skipped testing it...)
