I can't export an image I made in Pixelmator. No matter where on my hard drive I try to save it, I get the message

The file could not be saved because you do not have appropriate access privileges. To view or change access privileges, select the item in Finder and choose File > Get Info.

I've tried saving on my Desktop and in my Pictures folder. I can save the raw PXM file anywhere I want without a problem, but as soon as I try to export it seems to think I don't have permission to write to my own folders. No other programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) are exhibiting this problem. Just Pixelmator, and I can't find any reference to the problem when I Googled around for a bit.

Any ideas?

Known bug with the latest version. They're going to be updating it (they usually put an update out at the end of the month so soon). For now, use the save as command.

Thanks, I should have tried that I guess. I just am used to looking for "Export" in my graphics programs. That's a pretty big bug.
