Cannot find audio output device error - Parallels and Window XP

Hi,

Installed windows xp on my fiancé's MacBook, so that she would be able to upload recordings of her interviews (needed the windows for that). But for some reason whenever I try and open the app it gives me an error:

Cannot find audio output device. Sound card is not available, or drivers for audio output may not be installed correctly. Check and retry.

Also get no sound whatsoever from windows at the moment.

Any help on solving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
