Cannot find FCE in the Libray/Application Support - folder

I wanna install a plugin according to these instructions: UnZip the plugin and place it in /Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins

I have FCE instead of FCP but cannot find anything similar to that in the Application Support folder, where can it be?

Check your download file and see if it is in there and is it compatible with FCE?

There are two Library/Application support folders. You want the one that starts at the root of the machine (ex. Macintosh HD), not the one that starts with your user/home folder.

Lethal Wolfe, the library folder I've found I reached through pressing the alt. key while in the 'Go'-menu in the Finder. How do I reach the other one?

daybreak, I don't know if they are compatible, will just install them and see what happens. But I need to find the folder in where to paste them.

Lethal Wolfe, thank you, I found it. Hm, preferred snow lion, it was just there in the menu, seems like Mavericks seems to hide it.
