Cannot get Apple News+ on my mac?

Hi

Wife signed up to News+ and so we all get it on our iPhones now - but neither of our macs seem to have the content? Running latest Mojave and we have News app but nothing in there about news+ or magazines - no subscribe button or anything. We are in the UK - News+ launched recently

Does it not work on laptops? The Apple site says it does
