Cannot get my HP Printer to work with Airport Express - help?

I cannot print to my HP PSC 1310 Series via Airport Express. I can, however, plug the printer directly into the computer and print. The AE is playing music through my iTunes, so the connection is there. In the printer's "Job" manager, it says it's "Opening printer connection" for about 60 seconds, then stops trying, and stops jobs.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with my 1610 series on my ibook. It worked well on my iMac. It turned out it was due to my ibook is running OSX 10.3.9 and my iMac 10.4.
I had to go to HP´s homepage (suoprt) and download a driver. It works now
