Dear all,

I have my PowerBook G4 Ti 1.0 GHz hooked up to an external monitor. I cannot for the life of me get OS 9.2.2 to fit both the resolution and aspect ratio of my 24" BenQ monitor. The only apparent 16:9 resolution available in the OS's display settings is 1920x1080, which is also the native resolution of my display. When I select this resolution, however, it squashes the image into a smaller viewing area (16:10 perhaps?). Does anyone know how to fix this?

Just as a double check-did you install OS 9 using the TiBook-specific OS 9 install?

I had "funky" display issues with mine, including only allowing native resolution and not display at anything less than "millions of colors" until I got the correct version of OS 9.2.2 installed.

I did use the original, TiBook specific disk. I'll update if I figure it out, but it could be a problem with the monitor.
