I have an Virtual Disk Image (.hdd file) of Windows Vista which worked with Parallels 3.

When I updated to Parallels 4, it even moved across this Virtual disk across to Parellels 4 and converted it work with Parallels 4, and this work relatively well.

However, I can't seem to find a way to use the original .hdd and make a new virtual machine in Parallels 4.

This is how I have been trying to make the new virtual machine in Parallels 4
New Virtual Machine
Skip detection
Type: Windows Vista
Custom Virtual Machine Type
Hard Disk Options: Existing Image File
Image File: xxx.hdd

and then click through to start... upon where I start the virtual machine and it gives me a message Unable to connect to Hard Disk 1.

Is there a guide or something?
