I have an issue with Skype and I have searched everywhere!

While on a call, The caller's voice is very faint, almost not audible.

I am using the Built in mic and the Built in speakers, on my Early 2008 MBP. I have tried old versions, current ones and beta versions. I have looked in Skype preferences as well as System Settings... No hope.

However, when I switch to using the "Line In" instead of the built in microphone I can hear the caller great! (But they can no longer hear me because of obvious reasons...)

Anyone have any suggestions?

Is there any loud background noise whilst this is going on?

If there is Skype almost mutes the other person because it assumes that it's you talking.

Same Issue with Sound excelpt can't hear at all.

Very wierd, works on windows find but on the mac we just installed Skype and caller can hear from mac just fine but person on the mac doesn't hear anything, not even faint. Any ideas? All audio settings are set to built in speakers and mic so very odd.
