On Apple TV (3rd. Generation - Model A1625) it should by possible to hide apps. But when I click on an app (Icons starts wo wiggle) I have only the option to move it to a folder. There is no option to hide them. I have tried tvOS13 and tvOS14.

Delete or hide apps
On Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, you can delete apps. On Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), you can hide them. Just highlight the app and hold down the Touch surface or Select until the app starts to jiggle. Then press the Play/Pause button and choose Delete or Hide.

Not possible. Make a folder.

The 3rd generation Apple TV doesn't run tvOS. The A1625 is the 4th generation, also known as the Apple TV HD. On this model, and the 4k, you cannot delete the built in apps, only 3rd party apps, so as suggested above, put the ones you want to hide into a folder.

Ah thanks. It is possible with every AppleTV except the 4th Gen A1625.
