Hey all,
I have this problem that I tried to solve for the past two weeks. Tried many different approaches but no success so far. So I have an iPhone 3GS with an updated broadband (I think its 06.15.00) and it won't restore to any of the firmware, neither official or custom. I had 4.2.1 before, but now my phone is in DFU or iTunes restore mode. Tried installing 4.3, 4.3.1, 4.3.3, 4.3.5 but none worked out. Please share your ideas for solving this problem.
Big thanks

Do you have SHSH blobs save for these? if not, you can't restore to these firmware.

Try to restore it to 4.1 where Apple still signs for it. At the end, you will get 1015 error. Kick it out of recovery by using tiny umbrella, iReb, Recboot tec...

yes, i do have all the SHSH blobs saved from 4.1 and 4.2.1. Is it possible to upgrade to 4.3 in this case?

If you have SHSH blobs save, then you should be able to downgrade to any of the firmware that you have blobs. Did you have TSS server running while downgrading/restoring your phone?

no, I did not had them running. Cause I was trying to upgrade to 4.3 from 4.2.1.
Ok, I'm trying now to restore to 4.3.3, getting error 1600. Now gonna try to fix it.

ok, restored to custom 4.3.3, it went through all the process, but when it was time for rebooting the phone came back to DFU mode and i can't kick it out of it.

If you have blobs save, you will then can upgrade to 4.3 or even higher when it is available to customs cook the firmware.

so next time when I'm upgrading from say 4.2.1 to 4.3, I should turn TSS server on, is that correct?
ok guys, now I am on 4.1. how should i upgrade to 4.3.3 without ruining it?
