Cannot install EOS Utility software on my mac

Hi,
Hope somebody could help me. I can't get to install Canon eos utility software, whenever I try installing it, it just comes up with an error saying "You do not have privileges to install. Log in as administrator and try again".
Trouble is that I am the administrator and there is no other account on my mac!

Any help would be appreciated as I need to update some picture styles on my 5D Mark II urgently.

It might be worth creating another user account, make that Admin also and install that way. I had an older version of Photoshop behave the same way also. Once I used the 2nd admin acc it worked fine (deleting the temp account after as well).

Also try repairing permissions via disk utility. That may help.
