Hey all, I am trying to make my MDD Dual 867 dual boot into OS 9 and OS X, and I was able to install 9 on another partition (while I was in osx). However, when I tried to boot into os 9, it would initialize anything, the bar would fill up but then right as that was done, it's like it switches resolutions. I've tried loading it in "safe mode" and changing the monitor resolution, however safe mode does not let me open the "Monitors" control panel to access this.

I'm running OSX at 1280x1024 60hz, and the monitor is capable of doing this, however OS 9 seems to be booting up in this resolution, but with bigger hz value (I get 'No signal' on monitor and wavy lines of OS 9 in the back. I do have Classic installed, and I tried deleting everything from it. Also, I've tried to boot from the disc and install os 9. It does the same exact thing, configures a few things, then jumps up resolutions and is rendered useless.

Another thing I've tried is changing the resolution in OS X to 1024x768 thinking that OS 9 would follow suit... but it doesn't. Is this some kindof preference file that I'm overlooking... or a bug... glitch? Any help would be appreciated, there are some progs I need OS 9 to run. Thanks in advance~
