I downloaded the latest version of gimme some tune. I mounted the dmg and tried to drag the app to my applications folder and got these messages:
a)replace the older one(ok this is normal)
b)the operation cannot be completed because the item "gstlauncherdaemon" is in use(i click ok)
c)the item resources is in use so i can't complete the operation.

What??? What's those things?

What is the gstlauncherdaemon? And what the heck is that thing at c?

From what I read about it, it seems like it would be running concurrently with iTunes. My guess is that it was running when you tried to replace it, causing it to alert you that resources within the application package are in use.

What is the gstlauncherdaemon?
gst = GimmeSomeTune, daemon.

Most likely the gstlauncherdaemon is running and is preventing you from replacing the file. Open up Activity Monitor and you should see gstlauncherdaemon listed as a process (make sure you have "all processes" selected in the pick box at the top). Click on gstlauncherdaemon and click the quit process button. Then you should be able to replace the file OK.

Thanks for the info guys but i found the solution...! I deleted the app and installed the new one and everything was ok then!:)

Thanks anyways!:D
