I have a 2010 Mac mini. Back when I just bought this mac I installed Windows 7 through boot camp no problem and it worked perfectly for about 2 years. About 2 months ago by the time I installed Mountain Lion, I got a windows error that did not allow me to turn on the firewall. I tried everything and nothing worked, so my only option was to backup everything on my windows partition and boot from scratch. Once I deleted the windows partition I tried to create a new one, but oddly enough my mac mini does not recognize any dvds. It just spits them out. This started to happen when I installed Mountain Lion. So I thought, that is fine, I'll just boot from a usb. I did that, and everything seemed to be working fine. Windows was installing, I chose my computer name, password, everything went smoothly. But when the installation finished, the computer restart and BOOM black screen of death with a blinking underscore in the top left screen. I looked online for solutions and tried EVERYTHING. I reinstalled and re partitioned about 10 times, and nothing worked, still the black screen with flashing underscore. So I don't know what to do anymore. I can't boot from DVD since my drive doesn't recognize them. I can't boot from usb because of that black screen. What do I do? What are my options to install windows 7?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
