Cannot Make Changes in SMB Share Directory

Hello,
I have an iMac with 10.9.4. I connect to Windows 2003 server shares. I am able to open the shares and see the folders and files. But I cannot change the folder name within a share. I have always had access to it and was always able to make these changes. I removed the Keychain entry and re-authenticated with the server. I double checked the security permissions on the Windows server. I am an admin user on the Mac. Can anyone please provide any insight?

This is because Microsoft only sells Apple their Sync technology from 2003s2 on. So this 2003 sever is it running S2 version of 2003? Are you on the same clock sever?
