Cannot print text files on my HP Envy 5020 printer

Hi,
i have an HP 5020 printer/scanner - yes its old. But worked up untill a week ago.
Now all of a sudden, when i try to print any type of document - txt, odt etc it only prints certain parts of the file - not all of it!
I have tried all the driver updates from HP, but they do not even install?
HP seems to have given up on updates!!
I have tried everything - please help.

Try the HP Smart App from the App Store. It fixed my Catalina issues. HP 8600 pro.
