Cannot purchase XCode 4

Hello,
not sure if this is the correct forum ...

I cannot purchase XCode in the AppStore. When I click "purchase" it
- asks me for my password
- asks me if I'm really sure
- asks me again for my password to show the invoice and confirm my comand

... then nothing happens

I already tried 4x

Any ideas ?

I don't remember exactly how big Xcode 4 is, I think around 4 GB. It took about 2 hours (maybe less) to download for me.

My idea - relax, go for a walk, come back in two hours and see if the download is finished.

but there is nothing downloading and I don't see it i the "purchased' category.

Hi, i have the same problem. Maybe they have pulled the download / purchase option - look at the reviews in appstore...

why would they do that ?

EDIT: It works on my MBP ?! but not on my imac .. strange

I think the problem was that my AppStore account on the iMac needed to be somehow activated 1st. It was the 1st time I launched it there.
