So I just traded in my Late 2020 M1 MacBook pro for a 2021 model. The "older" model was erased completely and surrendered to Apple in-store.

When I got home and set up the new laptop, I attempted to remove the old device from my iCloud device list. When I click remove, nothing happens and the device is still listed under my iCloud devices.

I tried to remove the device on my iPhone, my new mac, and even on iCloud.com. I'm given the following error on iCloud.com:

I've had no luck and have not been able to remove the device. Can't find any solution to this and even Apple themselves didn't know
