I have searched high and low on google for a fix for a lost firmware password, first of all. I have tried every method on the first 4 pages of resolutions.

What I have is a mid-2009 MBP with a firmware password that I am unable to remove no matter what I try. It seems to closely resemble the problems that come with a lost password on post-2011 MBP's.

I've tried removing ram and zapping the PRAM to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to take it to Apple. They will verify you own the machine and they have a tool to remove the EFI PW.
