First of all, I know this has been a problem in the past with iTunes, however, I didn't think that it would happen in this case.

Back story: I had an iPhone 4S which was on my friends developer account. I downloaded the 5.1 beta and installed it. My sleep/wake button broke and I got a replacement today. My developer friend is out of the country for the next month with no access to his account.

I got my new phone home and wanted to restore it from a backup, but it won't let me because my backup is from 5.1 and there is only 5.0.1 installed on my phone. The only way I see for being able to restore my phone again is to pay for someone to put my phone's UDID on a developer account, which I would rather not do.

Is there any way for me to get my info back on my phone? I don't need everything, I would just like pictures, contacts, and possibly messaging conversations.

PS - I did use iCloud and backed up to it every night, as well as my computer occasionally.
