I thought after upgrade to Snow Leopard, older Macbook Pro can also have the newer multitouch gestures as those newer Macbook Pro?

I didn't see any options in the Trackpad in System Preferences.

How old is your MacBook Pro? If it's from before the earliest 2008 models then it's not supported.

Mine is from late 2006, in the Hardware section it's listed as MacbookPro 2,1. I cannot see the gesture options either, so I guess it's not compatible. I *can* do the two finger click and scroll though. Oh well, another reason to upgrade :)

The other bad news, if your MBP is that old, you probably can't do 64 bit either, because it's got the 32 bit EFI. There are some hacky workarounds, but I'll pass on those. Oh well, it was still worth the upgrade in my case as I was coming from Tiger to SL.
