Cannot select the Golden Master file from restore?

I have updated to itunes 11.1 from the developer site. I have backed up my iphone 4s and downloaded the ios7 gm from the developer site.

However when I use the option key to restore the iphone from the ios 7 gm I cannot. It opens the window to select the file however it does not allow you to select it. I guess you could describe it as being greyed out.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Have you opened the dmg to reveal the ipsw file? It's going to be tough for you to be a developer if you can't even figure this out.

thanks fender, good news is I am not a developer I could not even write one line of code!!!

That worked fine, I think I made the same mistake with ios 6 gm last year!!!
