when i command-tab to finder from a different application, and i have at least one finder window open in the background (behind my application), the open finder window does not come to the foreground. the menubar indicates that i did successfully switch to finder as the frontmost application, but for some reason, the open finder windows were not called to the foreground.
at this point, i AM able to use command-` to bring the windows to the front--but i can never command-tab to finder to get the windows to re-appear.
if i re-launch finder, then it behaves as expected only for a limited amount of time--once for ten minutes or so--before breaking. i've tried to isolate third-party programs that may cause this, but haven not been able to do so...
