Cannot sync iPod/iPhone after OS X Update

I've got a PowerMac MDD that's been all and well. Yesterday I plugged my iPhone in, it started charging and I put a song on it and ran into zero problems.

I was running 10.4.2

THEN I updated it to 10.4.11 and now none of my iPods or my iPhone are recognized at all.

I know it can't be a USB 1.x issue because it DID work!

thoughts?
