iPod Cannot Sync To iPod Touch

I rented Zombieland on iTunes, and I can't sync it onto my 2nd gen iPod Touch. I have the latest versions of everything. There's no rented movies subsection in the movies tab when i connect my iPod, and if I manually drag the movie onto the iPod, it says "The movie was not synced because it could not be played on this iPod."

Help me out guys, this is bullsh*t.
