I have an iPhone running 2.2.1 (jailbroken). When I try to restore it to factory settings, it becomes a brick. iTunes gives me a random error message, and then the iPhone goes to the screen where it shows the "Connect to iTunes and everything will be OK" graphic. It doesn't even have the little slider at the bottom which says "Slide for Emergency" anymore.

What can I do?

Err, don't think that will work, somehow.

Also, the error I get is "1013"
Does that clear anything up?

(And yes, I've tried what Apple says on it's help page, no change.)
