Cannot update apps bought from multiple stores without switching login

Out of nowhere, today when I try to update a couple apps bought from another store, I can’t.

A bit of background. I have 2 App Store accounts. One in AU and one in JP. Bought apps from both stores. Up until today, when I try to fetch the update in App Store, App Store would always pull updates available on both AU and JP store.

NOT ANYMORE!

One might say “just login to another account Problem solved“ or even say “that’s what it supposed to work, and Apple closed that loophole for ya”. In which case I am speechless.

Anyone else with the same situation?

Update: seems that updates can be fetched again. Sigh…😞

This happened to me, I too, don’t wanna lose all my downloads and other inconveniences when switching accounts.

But that was for a recent restore from backup and it resolved itself somehow.

And I’m still receiving auto updates on my other region accounts too
