Downloaded the mac OS Mojave installer to get the latest firmware, I get a prompt that I need a firmware upgrade, I get the blinking and the beep from the boot procedure, I'm using an RX 560 so i dont get any loading bar I normally just wait on a black screen when doing firmware updates and it works fine, but nothing happens after i boot back into Mojave, my firmware doesn't change and the prompt that i need a firmware upgrade is still there. I am on 10.14.6 public beta (18G48f) but I've also tried this on 10.14.5 with the same results. I don't know if any of the old methods of installing firmware patches still work, but I'm willing to try other methods.

if it means anything, I'm running off of a PCI-e m.2 SSD (970 evo)
