I’m not able to use "some" apps that require networking of any kind. For example, AirDrop, CloudFlare WARP, LocalSend [third-party app used to share files across devices when they are on the same network], and any Proxy or VPN App or even browser extensions.

I’m currently on the latest macOS Sequoia 15.5 and have tried all the workarounds that I could. For instance, restarting Mac, forgetting and re-adding my WiFi, and resetting network settings by deleting the following files: com.apple.airport.preferences.plist, com.apple.network.identification.plist, com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist, NetworkInterfaces.plist, and preferences.plist.

But none of these workarounds helped me. So any help in this regard will be highly appreciated. [PS: My internet is working well and good without any hiccups whatsoever. Moreover, the generic apps like browsers are also working without any issues].

Do you use a VPN? I recall on Sonoma that I was using Mullvad VPN and it played havoc with things like these, I deleted all my VPN profiles and voila stuff worked again.
No mate, not using any VPN... because none of such apps are able to work in the first place :')

Things stopped after upgrading to 15.5?

does these work for a different user?

Is there an error message?

in case of e.g., Airdrop between 2 unlocked devices: is the target device listed/does the transfer initialise/stop? if you turn off wifi but leave bluetooth on both devices, does airdrop work?

Can you check wether there is something in the console logs?

No, I was on 15.1 when the issue randomly appeared. I updated to 15.5 thinking it might do some good, but nopes...

I'm the only user on my Mac...

Nopes, no error message whatsoever...

In case of AirDrop, the target device does show up, but the transfer never starts.. If I turn off WiFi and keep Bluetooth enabled across both the devices, then my iPhone is able to detect other Apple devices, just not my Mac..

Ran the console and then started airdrops, here are some of the fault messages that I can get hold of [please let me know if you can decipher something from it]. The following errors are the ones that came the maximum number of times during the console run:

Unable to get entitled topics. Error: Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=3

Peer connection [pid=9195] lacks APSConnectionInitiateEntitlement

Unexpected replacement of connection in <private>

Unexpected nilling of connection via setter in <private>

Ages ago I had to change my dns from my isp for the Mac to even connect to the internet, so changed it to 1.1.1.1 although that shouldn't prevent airdrop from working.

Wouldn't waste time trying to troubleshoot it if you've had it a while, just create a new user as admin & try it from there. If it still doesn't work it's either the Mac or the device at fault, if it works then you know it's your existing configuration somewhere - it's a bawache, but either delete and re-add on your existing or simply add/delete the new user you created.
