Cannot wipe DVD-RW (insufficient privileges)

Hello,

I'm trying to clear a rewritable DVD-RW, but when I try and delete what's already on there a pop up says I have insufficient privileges.

Could somebody please let me know how I can wipe this DVD so that I can record on it again?

If you open the Disk Utility from the Utilities folder (it's on the Go menu), you should be able to Erase the DVD-RW disk from there.
