Hello... I just bought a SDXC Sandisk 64GB card off Amazon for their lightning deal, it's a class 10 and 200x card. I also bought a SD to CF adapter card as well. The card operates fine when taking pictures for the most part, but it struggled when I did a test of multi frame shots. It also was unable to record any video, as the buffer icon came up within a second and it stopped recording. My question is could this be the fault of the card, or the adapter? I mainly bought the SD card so that I could easily import photos to my Ipad when I go on a trip in a month.

I'm betting it's the CF adapter. The card should be plenty fast for recording, but a cheap adapter may not be up to the job.

Class 10 SD is still only 10MB/s, which is a far cry from what a fast CF card can do. By comparison a 266x CF card can do 45MB/s, UDMA 600x cards can do 90MB/s.
