The Canon MP270 I have is supposed to be able to do borderless printing; however when the paper type "A4 Borderless" is selected, the images are grossly washed out. This occurs with any paper type with a '(borderless)' suffix. I've seen mention of this on a number of forums, but there never seems to be much in the way of a fix.

Example print (jpg/300kb)

It's not a massive inconvenience, but it'd be nice to be able to do borderless prints for pre-press.

Doe anyone have an idea about this bit of weirdness? The Canon help team don't have a clue, beyond installing their ridiculous 'easy print' software.
