Hi,
I have a Canon ZR950 miniDV camcorder, and there is a red blinking icon near the center of the screen that I cannot seem to get rid of. If you have a Canon camcorder, can you tell me what it might mean?

I tried to reproduce it in the attached image. What does it mean?
It's in the bottom-left of the screen, but it is closer to the center.

Thanks

Does it prevent recording or playback? I wonder if there's a reset button on the ZR950 like there is for the HV20/30.

It can record, playback, and transfer fine. Everything works. If it weren't for that icon, I'd think everything is fine. However a blinking red icon in the middle of the screen probably means I should do something.

I've got the HV20. Great camera. I'm a big fan of MiniDV tapes over anything hard drive based and the price was great.

I also just added a wide-angle lens which is awesome. It screws on and off really easily. Just a word of caution, though, that it adds a lot of weight to the camera (I think the lens alone is double the weight of the camera).
