Canon CanoScan N1220U on Mac

It is a pretty old scanner ... but it's all i need ... but i haven't tried it on my MBP until now. In fact, i've never tried to use it on any Mac, which is where my problem lies.

I went on the Canon website to see if i could download the software for it, but it seems there isn't any available for Mac's. What is available is 'Canon plug ins' so you can use the scanner with certain applications.

So finally my question: Does anyone know what applications this plug in can be used with?

I know the plug in works with photoshop.

If you want to use the scanner without the pligin consider VueScan
