I have a canon fs 100 I can not get imovie to read the mod files they are light grey and it will not let me click on them to import the files. Everything I read says it should work since I have Imovie 08, or at least I think it is it 7.1. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help
 
figured out

I was upgrading from imovie upgrades and for some reason it was not truly working. I went on the apple site and downloaded imovie 7.1.4. Then I installed and it worked.
