I received a Canon HG10 for christmas and have recently taken a trip to london. I tried using the usb cable that came with it to put the videos I took on the trip on my MacBook. I have leopard and ilife 08 but I dont have imovie 08, just imovie HD since it didnt work when i tried to install it then my sister ran over the disc with a spinny chair since she was mad at me so I cant reinstall it. I dont want to spend the money to buy ilife 08 again and also have heard that imovie isnt very good anyway. I am wondering if there are any other programs I can use instead of imovie 08 to put these videos on my laptop and I also want to know if videos put on said programs can be 'shared" to quicktime as they can on imovie HD.
