Canon IP4500 Colour Problems

I'm running a Macbook with 10.5.6 & a Canon IP4500. The problem I have is that whenever I print a black and white photo, it comes out with almost a magenta tinge to it. I've tried setting it to grayscale, but always have the same results. I know it prints black ok, as the test page is fine (I've also run all the head checks), but for the life of me I cannot seem to get it to get a good print.

I've tried several different drivers, including the printfab driver - but to no avail.

Help anyone?
