Canon lens question.

Hey, this might make me sound like an idiot, but I need some help finding the specs and diagram of an old lens.
Unfortunately I don't know what lens it is. I know it's fairly old, and has a very minimal standard zoom range. (probably around 35mm) Very compact lens.
It was my grandfathers who just recently passed away, and I can't go get his camera. I would like the diagram for something I am working on.
If you could post your suggestions/answers, it would be greatly appreciated.
