I am looking into getting lens with IS or OS or what ever stabilization.
After using my T2i and it's kit lens with IS, it's just so dam smooth.

I am looking for people's feedback ESP for video comparisons of something like the 28-135mm vs the 24-105mm L series.

I've just upgraded to a 6D and therefore since my 17-55mm Canon lens wouldn't fit I decided to upgrade to a 24-70mm f2.8 which would fit FF.

Tamron offer the cheapest decent quality lens with VC (IS). The IS makes such a world of difference if you have to go handheld. Be careful with fast pans though as you will visibly see the system getting confused.

I would recommend the 24-105mm f4 but if you need an extra stop of light try out the 24-70mm f2.8 from Tamron which is a similar price.
